Elbow

The elbow is the joint between the humerus and the bones of the forearm, the tibia and ulna. It consists of three joints which are located within a common joint cavity. It allows flexion of the forearm in relation to the elbow and pronation or supination of the forearm, i.e. movement of the anterior surface of the forearm dorsally and backwards.
